Our Mission

The NIRI Silicon Valley Chapter was formed to advance the practice of investor relations within the local business environment. In keeping with this mission, the Chapter focuses on IR education, mentoring, and networking with the broad professional community. Our goal is to further the skills of our members, to expand their business opportunities, to increase Chapter membership, and to foster an environment that promotes IR learning for all.

NIRI Silicon Valley's Second IRO Roundtable Dinner

Back by popular demand is NIRI’s IRO Roundtable Series!  We are delighted to invite you to attend our second IRO Roundtable Dinner on April 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Jack's Restaurant and Bar in San Mateo.

This members-only NIRI Silicon Valley event will be hosted for, and by, IR practitioners only and all costs will be covered by NIRI Silicon Valley. We hope the intimate Chatham House rules discussion will foster a productive and candid peer-to-peer learning opportunity and help our members navigate the evolving IRO role amid unprecedented changes in AI, hybrid work and the global political economy.

NIRI Silicon Valley Board Members Mary Lai (IR @ NEXTracker) and Charles Eveslage (IR @ Zoom) will moderate a thoughtful discussion over drinks and dinner. Some sample topics could include:

-Tactical best practices (sell-side communications, conference scheduling, investor targeting, 
  consensus  tracking, etc.)
- Earnings season best practices in preparing the release, script, and deck
- Transitioning into IR in the current market and what future roles IROs are well suited for
- Elevation of IR's role in providing investor feedback to board and management
- Potential impact of AI on IRO responsibilities
